Bristol Dragway prepares for high-flyin’, car-crushin’ action when Monster Truck Madness presented by 4-Wheels Unlimited heads to Thunder Valley on Saturday, June 14.

The high-octane show will have fans on the edge of their seats as they watch several of the same trucks that compete on SPEED’s popular monster truck show, Monster Jam.  Among the trucks scheduled to appear are Predator, Prowler, Pouncer, Lone Eagle and locally-based War Wizard.

Kids young and old will enjoy seeing these monster machines fly through the air with ease, crushing everything in their path.

For those that want to strap in and get a little closer to the action, the Predator ride truck will give a taste of what it is like to try to tame one of these enormous beasts.

In addition, the Team FMX freestyle motocross team will put on a stunning display of awesome jumps and stunts just like the ones seen on TV and a burnout competition will fill Thunder Valley with a cloud of smoke.

Spectators at Monster Truck Madness presented by 4-Wheels Unlimited also have the chance to win a free hamburger if any of the monsters completes the “Sonic Route 44 Challenge.” To earn free burgers for everyone, one of the trucks must successfully jump two cars and drive 44 yards on its rear tires.

Before the action starts, a pit party will let fans get autographs and make pictures with their favorite drivers and trucks.  The first 500 kids (12 and under) through the gate will receive a replica 1/64th scale monster truck.

Gates open at 6:00 p.m. Spectator admission is $15 for adults and $5 for kids ages 6-15. Children five and under are free.
