I have in my possession a hand-written note from U.S. Rep. David Davis, dated Aug. 29, 2006, which states the following, “Dear Gary, Thank you for your friendship and support. I was able to win the election because of your hard work and dedication.”
At every event I attended during Davis’ 2006 campaign, Keith Spicer was introduced as the campaign manager. Now Davis, in a desperate attempt to stay in office, is stating that Spicer was not the campaign manager in 2006.
Shame on David Davis for impugning the character of such a fine man as Keith Spicer, whose only crime is to exercise his freedom to support Dr. Phil Roe, the person he believes to be the best qualified for Congress. History may be rewritten by those wishing to hide it, but the truth will always stand in the end.
