The search for the third suspect in the shooting of a Knoxville police officer is now over.
Cleven “Cleveland” James Johnson, 26, turned himself in without incident Wednesday afternoon.
Police say Johnson has a long criminal record and was just arrested Friday on drug and weapons charges.
He now faces burglary and attempted first-degree murder charges; he’s being held on a $1,000,000.00 bond.
Knoxville police officer Norman Rickman was shot Tuesday afternoon while responding to a burglary call in northwest Knoxville.
Thirty-two-year-old James Willie Murry and a 17-year-old were charged earlier with the home burglary that preceded the shooting.
