Two Police Shooting Suspects in Custody; One on the Run
Two suspects are behind bars and one remains at large following a police shooting in Northwest Knoxville. Officer Norman Rickman was shot three times while responding to a burglary alarm in the 6600 block of Rockbridge Lane on the city’s northwest side. Two suspects are behind bars and one remains at large following a police shooting in Northwest Knoxville.
Officer Norman Rickman was shot three times while responding to a burglary alarm in the 6600 block of Rockbridge Lane on the city’s northwest side.
Our sister station, WVLT/volunteertv.com report, so far authorities have two suspects in custody. Thirty-three year old James Willie Murry and a 17-year-old suspect are both facing charges of especially aggravated burglary.
Knoxville Police released pictures of the Murry and another adult suspect at a press conference Wednesday morning.
Sullivan County Sherriff’s Office tells Your Tri-Cities News Source, Knox County authorities issued a BOLO-Be On the Look Out-alert for Cleven Jaquaren Johnson.

-approximately 6 feet
-155 lbs.
-hazel eyes
Johnson has multiple tattoos on his left arm, chest and back. He is believed to be armed with a semi-automatic handgun. So far authorities have not issued any vehicle identification or destinations. Cleven Johnson has multiple warrants for his arrest, including one for first degree murder.
East Tennessee law enforcement authorities believe Johnson and Murray are connected to Officer Rickman’s shooting.
The veteran officer was shot three times—twice in the chest and once in the arm.
Rickman was also shot in the line of duty back in 2001. That’s when he took a bullet to the chest during a traffic stop. That left him in critical condition

i agree this guy is a mennis to the public, keep him locked up, so he can not commit any more crimes.
