Time Is Running Out For Johnson City, Tennessee Teenagers Interested In Joining the “Junior Police Academy”. Anyone who is 14-to-18 years old and has an interest in law enforcement can participate in the 4th annual academy. Officers will be teaching the junior academy members everything from how to do a traffic stop to what goes on during a criminal investigation.
“It’s a great program, we’ve got some slots left, and would love to have some people in it.” said officer Terry Hardin.
The program kicks off July 21st and runs through July 25th. For more information, call or stop by the Johnson City Police Department.
