Suspect Arrested in 2007 Waffle House Shooting

Police arrested Djuan Anthony Lewis early Monday morning, and charged him two counts of attempted second degree murder. Investigators have been searching for Lewis since June 2007. That’s when a shooting took place at the Waffle House restaurant on North State of Franklin in Johnson City. Lewis is suspected of injuring two people during the incident.

Johnson City Police arrest a Kingsport man wanted in connection to a shooting that happened more than a year ago.

Police arrested Djuan Anthony Lewis early Monday morning, and charged him two counts of attempted second degree murder.

Investigators have been searching for Lewis since June 2007. That’s when a shooting took place at the Waffle House restaurant on North State of Franklin in Johnson City.

Lewis is suspected of injuring two people during the incident.

He’s being held on a $200,000 dollar bond and will appear in court Monday.
