Fire destroyed a Pigeon Forge landmark this morning.
The 3 Bears Gift Shop went up in flames around 4 a.m. However, not hurt, the five bears that were kept there.
The northbound lanes of the parkway in the Smoky Mountains gateway city were closed because of the amount of fire apparatus that responded.

Maybe the ‘bears’ set the fire as a means of escaping? I’ll bet they are ‘smokey mountain bears’ and left one burning on the bear couch???
Anyway I hope the bears are allowed to return to their natural habitat….downtown Knoxville…

I hate this for the bears. Those bears will not make it in natural habitat, unless it is a zoo type environment. The bears are so overweight and have not had any major exercise for so long, I am afraid they may not make it at all. I agree with pistol04, I hope they can get in a more natural environment.

Too bad, but maybe now those sad bears can go live in a place a bit more natural.
