One Injured In JC Overnight Shooting

The Johnson City Police Department responded to a shooting at the Hardee’s Restaurant at 2102 W. Market Street around one a.m.
A News Channel 11 news crew arrived on the scene just as Johnson City Police cleared the area.
An eyewitnesses tells Your Tri-Cities News Source two men and two women just finished eating and where walking out to their car. That’s when a gold Ford Escort came from behind the building.
The witness says someone inside the escort pulled a shotgun and fired a bullet at one of the men.
The male victim was shot in the arm and rushed to nearby Johnson City Medical Center. He is expected to be ok. The age and identity of the victim has yet to be released.
Johnson City Police have yet to release a complete suspect description.

I didn’t realize Hardee’s was open at one a.m.

If you pull a shotgun and then shoot, you do not fire a bullet. If the person was hit with a bullet, they were not shot at with a shotgun.
