* 29-year-old Matthew Cash was arrested yesterday night by Kingsport Police. Here’s what investigators released to us about his arrest and charges:

KPD Vice Squad executed a search warrant at 1524 Fuller St.  Upon search of the premises, Vice Detectives located a number of marijuana plants
growing in the backyard area, behind the garage.

Additional marijuana was located inside the garage.  Vice Detectives arrested resident Matthew Cash without incident.

Matthew Cash confessed to planting the seeds and growing the marijuana.

Cash is currently on bond for a previous marijuana charge, which is pending in criminal court in Blountville.

Kingsport police need to get a life.

This poor guy has harmed no one and the fact that our revenue was used to perpetrate this farce upon this peaceful citizen is unacceptable.

Hey guys, whats the problem with Mary Jane? I think the police should be looking for the people that cook, sell, and transport Meth all over the country instead of Mary Jane!!!!

If the government could find a way to roll and package weed and sell it on the store shelves , they would. Marijuana is harmless.
