An alternative financial institution, “The Cash Man,“ was robbed at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, an employee told Johnson City Police.
The employee described the male suspect as Hispanic, between 30 and 35 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, and 150 pounds. He was wearing a green t-shirt and blue jeans. He had a thin mustache and severe acne scars, the employee said.
The suspect entered the store, located at 4704 N. Roan St., “brandished a weapon, and demanded money…. The male then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash,“ Investigator Mark Stout said.
Police appealed to the public for help with their investigation. You can reach Crimestoppers at (423) 434-6158.
