False Report Lands Elizabethton Man In Jail On Child Porn Charges

A report about a missing gun landed an Elizabethton man behind bars on charges of sexual exploitation of a minor.
According to police reports, Zachary Tessier called them to report a stolen Smith and Wesson 44 handgun.
As authorities investigated the case, witnesses told them Tessier had images of child pornography on his computer.
An FBI analysis revealed more than 100 images of child porn on a computer taken from Tessier’s home.
Tessier faces several charges, including sexual exploitation of a minor and filing a false report.
Investigators reportedly say, they found the missing gun during a search of his home.
