Dandridge, TN Teen Killed In Crash

A teenager is dead following an early morning accident in Newport, TN just south of Greeneville in Cocke County.
Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers rushed to the scene of the fatal crash.
It happened just after 2:30 this morning along U.S. Highway 25/70.
THP officials tell Your Tri-Cities News Source, 15-year-old Dwayne A. Walker was traveling westbound when he struck a covert pipe in the ground.
The 1997 Honda Accord then careened into a dirt pile on the driver’s side, killing the teen.
Walker, a Dandridge resident, was alone in the vehicle.
The investigation continues into the fatal accident.

Blessings to the family of the 15 yr. old, but why was a young boy speeding in a car at 2:30 in the morning?
