Child Dies After Being Hit By Truck

It happened at Lee Apartments on Dale Street in Kingsport this afternoon.
Witnesses told Your Tri-Cities News Source a worker for the Kingsport Housing Authority was driving a truck across the lawn of the complex. The truck hit the child. Witnesses told us he died.
An investigation into the crash continues at this hour.

why in hades was the truck driving across the grass. that makes no sense!

If this child did pass away, my sympathies to the parents and family.
