Update 5:04 p.m.

Authorities have located Miles Dolinger, the 49-year-old man who went missing near Damascus, VA. Wednesday evening. A News Channel 11 crew is on the scene and reports that Dolinger is in good condition. For more on the succesful rescue, watch News Channel 11 at 6 p.m. and News Channel 11 Nightside at 11 p.m.

Several units, including four canine units from North Carolina, were combing heavy brush in Washington County Virginia Thursday morning, Sheriffs said. 

A man identified as 49-year-old Miles Dolinger was driving cattle in the Damascus area Wednesday afternoon.  He went missing around 2:00 p.m.near the Bear Tree Campground, police said.  The campground sits about nine miles north of Damascus on Route 58.

Police describe Dolinger as 6 feet 4 inches tall, 200 pounds; with brown hair, brown eyes, thick glasses and jeans.  He was last seen wearing jeans, a long-sleeve shirt, and baseball cap.  Dolinger does not have any known medical conditions, police said.
