Pops. 30 years ago police did what they were paid to do….protect and serve and I appreciate your friends service. However I don’t appreciate his replacement who eats our tax dollars like the free doughnuts he gets while he sits in a running car eating gas we pay for talking to his mistress on a cellphone while the Meth and prescription drug problem explodes in our area. Next time you pass a cop on the road see if he is on a cellphone… i mean honestly you have the use of your eyes i assume. They spend their days doing this and then hide in spots along the road writing tickets for which they are paid overtime for when they go to court to testify…. tell me what you think about that pops…does that surprise you…. another government agency trying to stick their hand in your pockets anyway they can

ohwell,
I have a very close relative who spent over 30 years on the police force. During those 30 years he was attacked and beaten within an inch of his life, shot at twice(that I know of) so don`t tell me they spend time on cell phones and are waisting our money.  Maybe you should ask about a
“ride along program” for volunteers and then see if you feel the same way toward policeman afterwards.

oh well, you are disgusting individual who has obviously spent as much time at your computer as I have today. I have the luxury of email at work…you know that big word J..O…B!. Get a life and stop being so nasty. Your comments are rude, nasty and pointless I will respond to them no longer. You aren’t worth my typing or any further thought. I like to comment here for intelligent debate…you sir have no clue what intelligent is.

I would like to know where you live JohnB, if you see things worse than that just walking your dog I want to stay out of your neighborhood. It is amazing that we are so desensitized that a person doing that in front of someone else is no big deal to someone. I wonder how you would feel if he had done it in front of your wife or daughter, luckily the perv did in front of an undercover officer. And as far as showing his picture, I’m glad, he obviously has some sexual issues and with the public humiliation maybe he will get some help and if he were my neighbor I would certainly want to know he had such issues..wouldn’t you?

Man does bad thing…nobody is hurt…man gets arrested. Man pays fine and this should be the end of story.

So why is this BIG NEWS and why is it necessary to publish the guy’s picture?

I see things worse than this EVERY DAY while walking my dog and in 2 years I have seen MAYBE 3 police cars drive down my street. And it is a busy,inner-city street.

This isn’t news and submitting a person to public humiliation over something as TRIVIAL as this is a shame to this website. Where are your journalistic ethics??? What’s next…mug shots of JAYWALKERS?

I guess U can’t say ‘riding a bicycle’ on this forum?

I’m headed down to ‘Bulls Gap’ to see what the problem is. They must be out of ‘monkey grease’ down there…..??? On my way I will stop and purchase a case of ‘Kentucky Jelly’ for the ‘Bull boys’...

There are bad seeds in every profession or group. Oh well falls into the catagory of undesirable human that seems to be so mean and nasty he has to say hurtful things to people to try to make them think like he does. If you want to persuade people to think like you do you would have to have an intelligent thought, not sure that is possible for you because nothing whatsoever you have said makes any sense or has any intelligent bearing. Go to school get and eduation, get some manners and just plain shut up. I hope the next time you need help and call 911 the officer that should be coming to your house is out chasing a hooker down and doesn’t have time to respond to you. Lord knows you think chasing hookers is the most important crime. You don’t deserve their time.

The police were aleady there conducting an undercover operation because of suspected illegal drug sales. The idiot came in and exposed himself.  So, ohwell, if you were working at your service station and, while the police were working an undercover operation there, someone drove off without paying for $50.00 worth of gas.  Wouldn`t you expect the police to pursue and arrest the person???
We are lucky to have our police forces on both sides of town. It takes a special person who wants to serve his community, work long hours, work for low pay, and put your self in danger everytime you go to work. Your comments, ohwell, reflect your IQ, age, or both.

of course graced. of course you haven’t gotten a ticket on the Parkway. Last time i checked horses and buggies top speed was lower than 35mph. However our cops spend time talking on cell phones, meeting their mistresses in empty parking lots and writing speeding tickets. Meanwhile drug deals happen everyday on our schools property. Meth and prescription drug abuse continues to grow exponentially in the Tri and morons like you keep burying your heads in the sand and applauding when Barney Fife arrests a guy masturbating at Exotic Illusions.

Should all victimless crimes then be ignored?  How should the police pick and choose which laws to enforce?  That place has been there a long time with no arrests made until now. They haven’t been picked on by any means. If we have a problem with police enforcing laws, we should not break them. If we have a problem with the person who passed the law, we should talk to a legislator. I haven’t had a ticket in forty years of driving, I figured out years ago not to speed on the Volunteer Parkway. Slow down, don’t sell beer to minors, and keep it in your pants. How much more simple could that be?
