A stand-off between Greene County Sheriff’s deputies and an armed man inside a home forced the closure of Highway 93 in Greene County this morning.
According to WGRV radio’s Bobby Rader, deputies went the home on Highway 93 about 8 p.m. Tuesday after a call about a burglary.
That’s when shots reportedly were fired.
No one was hurt, but as of this morning, the man was still barricaded inside the home.
Greene County Sheriff’s deputies closed Highway 93 between the Newmansville Volunteer Fire Department and Walkertown Road while the police activity was underway as a precaution.
