UPDATE: Woman’s Body Found In Abingdon, VA Headed For Autopsy In Roanoke
The Washington County, Virginia Sheriff’s Department is investigating a gruesome discovery.
Sheriff Fred Newman says a family found the partially decomposed body of an unidentified female Sunday night.
Washington County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a home on Wyndale Road in Abingdon, Virginia.
Authorities tell News Channel 11, the body was found in the second story of an abandoned home.

Body Found In Washington Co., VA
Your Tri-Cities News Source has learned a body was found late Sunday night in Washington County, Virginia.
Sheriff Fred Newman tells News Channel 11 a body turned up near the south end of the county on Wyndale Road. The road parallels with Astor Road.
The body is described as passed decomposition.
So far no name has been released.
Washington County, VA investigators are preparing to send the body to the Virginia medical examiners.
Sheriff Newman tells Your Tri-Cities News Source he plans to issue a statement later on the investigation.

Please before you go to this family asking questions put yourselves in their place. Would you want to be bothered.? Its bad enough that victim wasn’t searched for more when she was reported missing. God be with that family.
