Review: Barter’s “Don’t Cry for Me, Margaret Mitchell’
“Don’t Cry for Me, Margaret Mitchell” could easily pass for one of Neal Simon’s best plays such as “The Odd Couple” or “The Sunshine Boys,” but it’s by Duke Ernsberger and Virginia Cate, two howlingly whacky playwrights – a mother and son team, no less.

Marion’s Royal Oak Players are all wound up to present “Hickory Dickory Dead” on May 16-17 in the Lincoln Theatre in Marion. If past experience and a look at one of their rehearsals is any clue, it ought to be a laugh-a-minute hoot.

Unicoi Students Use Fashion To Fight Domestic Violence
The Unicoi County High School Key club held its second annual fashion show Friday morning for the CHIPS Family Violence Center. The CHIPS program houses approximately 50 women seeking refuge from abuse. Each year CHIPS helps 200-plus survivors of domestic abuse with clothing, food and legal representation.
