The Unicoi County Apple Festival kicks off Friday through Saturday in downtown Erwin.
The festivities run from 8a.m. to 8p.m. both days. Since 1978, the Tri-Cities area has commemorated one of the finest apple growing counties in the Southeast. More than 100,000 people are expected to come out to downtown Erwin for the festival’s food, crafts and Southern Appalachian culture.
