The Fort Henry Mall has officially gone green.
The mall won a “go green” award from general growth properties.
The mall purchased LED lights for the holidays and general lighting.
Plans are also in the works to install waterless urinals and hand dryers.
They also recycled 29,000 pounds of cardboard in 2007.
Mall officials say the new green initiative helped drop their kilowatt/hour consumption by about 17% in one year.
