ST. PAUL, Va. — Tradition once again came down the track of a Wise County rail yard on Saturday. Several generations of families who came to this spot as wide-eyed kids lined the rails with their children to see Christmas magic roll in on a caboose crammed with goodies.

St. Paul was just one of 14 stops on the tour of the Santa Train, a holiday express that has run down the old Clinchfield Railroad line, now owned by CSX Transportation, since World War II.
