Local state reps support abortion restriction bill

NASHVILLE, Tenn. –– Sullivan County’s three Republican state representatives are supporting a bill that would require women to have an ultrasound prior to an abortion.

State Rep. Rick Womick, R-Rockvale, is the primary sponsor of the bill in the state House. Local Reps. Matthew Hill, John Lundberg and Tony Shipley are all co-sponsors.
