Charlottesville group receives grant to catalog items at The Hermitage

RICHMOND, Va. — Seven humanities projects in Virginia have received grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities.

The largest grant, $300,000, went to the Thomas Jefferson Foundation, Inc., in Charlottesville. The grant will be used to catalog and digitize 365,000 artifacts from President Andrew Jackson's home in Tennessee, The Hermitage.
