Suspicious fire investigated in Washington County, Va.

Officers are trying to determine what caused a Saturday morning fire in Washington County, Va. that destroyed a house and barn, Sheriff Fred Newman said.

Crews from the Goodson Kinderhook Volunteer Fire Department arrived at 2176 Willow Branch Rd. just after 7 a.m. and found the two structures completely engulfed in flames, the sheriff said.
