A controversial bill passed the TN House and Senate that would allow parents to sue teachers and other groups who allow ‘gateway sexual activity’.

The bills specifies that family life instruction in schools emphasize teachings on abstinence, it goes further to say parents or guardians can take legal action if a teacher has not complied with requirements of the bill.
