Tornado Watch for entire region through 3 a.m. Thursday

The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma has issued a tornado watch for all of Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee until 3 a.m. Thursday, including all of the Tri-Cities region.

An organized complex of thunderstorms is expected to move through the region late Wednesday and early Thursday with heavy rain, hail, winds in excess of 60 miles per hour and possible isolated tornadoes, according to a report from the National Weather Service office in Morristown, Tenn.
