BRISTOL, Tenn. — A moving truck was parked recently in front of the E.W. King Library on the King University campus. File cabinets lined the cargo bay, each containing the academic records of students of the now-defunct Virginia Intermont College.
Interim King President Richard Ray said he went outside as the containers were wheeled into the complex where they will be kept. The school will serve as custodian for those records under an agreement with Compass Executive of Nashville, a firm that is handling restructuring efforts for VI.
